Terms of service

Last updated 25 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between your business and Soham Bhole, trading as Zendue ("Zendue", "we") for using Zendue. By creating an account, you agree to them on behalf of your business. Please read them along with our privacy policy.

1. What Zendue does

Zendue sends payment reminders for your unpaid invoices by email, in your business's name. It reads your customers' replies with AI to work out what they mean, decides on follow-ups, and tells you when something needs a person. AI can misread a reply. You stay responsible for your collections, and for checking anything important (such as a dispute or a payment claim) before acting on it.

2. Your account

  • You must be allowed to act for the business you sign up, and the details you give us must be accurate.
  • Keep your password safe, and turn on two-factor login if you can. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.

3. Your data and your customers' data

  • Your data stays yours. You can download it or delete it at any time from your Account page.
  • You confirm that you have a lawful reason to give us your customers' names, email addresses and invoice details, and to have reminders sent to them in your name. Usually this is because they owe you money under a real business relationship.
  • For your customers' personal data, your business is the data fiduciary under the DPDP Act and we process it on your behalf, only to provide Zendue. If a customer asks you about their data, you handle the request, and we'll help.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload invoices that aren't genuinely owed, or send reminders to people who don't owe you money;
  • use reminder wording that threatens, harasses, shames or misleads anyone;
  • break any law, including laws on debt collection, consumer protection, spam and data protection;
  • try to get into other accounts, test or get around our security, or overload or disrupt the service;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer Zendue.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

5. Free trial and payment

  • New accounts get a 45-day free trial. No payment details are needed to start.
  • After the trial, Zendue costs a monthly price based on how many active invoices you have. The current price is shown on your Billing page before you pay. Payment is in advance through Razorpay, for one period at a time, and doesn't renew automatically.
  • If you don't pay when your trial or paid period ends, your account becomes read-only: you can still see and download your data, but no reminders are sent.
  • If your trial ends and you never subscribe, we delete your account and its data 6 months after the trial ended, after emailing you at least 30 days before.
  • We aren't registered for GST, so no GST is added to our prices. Refunds: we don't refund a period that has already started, except if you were charged by mistake or Zendue was unavailable for a large part of that period.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. This permanently deletes your data and can't be undone. Payments already made for the current period aren't refunded unless our refund policy says otherwise. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after giving you a chance to download your data unless the law stops us.

7. Availability

We work to keep Zendue running and your reminders going out on time, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or delayed, for example during maintenance or if one of our providers has a problem.

8. Liability

Zendue helps you collect payments, but we don't guarantee any customer will pay. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits), and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

To decide before publishing: this section especially needs your lawyer's review.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you at least 15 days before. If you keep using Zendue after that, the new terms apply.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Mumbai.
